Overview

This person will support art needs on Shankstars. As part of the art team on Shankstars they will get experience in all parts of the game development process, including ideation, content creation, asset integration in the Unity game engine, game testing, while learning essential skills to grow their artistic knowledge in the digital entertainment/gaming industry.

Responsibilities

• Self-manage tasks to support the team goals within Agile sprint development
• Leverage graphic design skills to help develop content to be used in marketing for the Shankstars game
• Participate in art team meetings and relevant game team standups
• Integrate art assets directly into the game using the Unity game engine and test them in-game
• Leverage illustration and animation skills to help develop content for the Shankstars game app

Qualifications

• Flexible, helpful and an insightful self-starter
• 1+ years Interest in gaming
• 2+ years Art education
• Bachelor’s degree, Art-related preferred
• Good addition to our small team
• 1+ years Interest in golf
• Attention to detail
• Open-minded attitude, eager to learn all aspects of game development from an artistic perspective
• Creative thinker to brainstorm and ideate ongoing content for the Shankstars game
• Creative media production skills
