Role And Responsibilities


We are looking to hire an Inside Sales Team Lead who will play an integral role in achieving the commercial organization's objectives and goals. In this role, you will influence demand and grow revenue through lead and order generation. In addition to managing a book of business of your own, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of Inside Sales Associates, including tracking their activity, preparing and maintaining records for sales leads and account status, and ensuring the team reaches or exceeds their goals. You will also work closely with the PAX sales teams to develop and utilize sales strategies to increase market penetration, identify key dispensaries and figures, and generate interest in our growing product portfolio. This is a full-time hourly position.


As the Inside Sales Team Lead, you will...


  • Handle all tactical requirements for new account onboarding including, but not limited to:
  • Deliver value by forging new relationships and understanding market dynamics and demand
  • Hire, develop, and train all inside sales associates
  • Handle account creation in systems of record
  • Provide accounts reconciliation support (ie. invoices, payment submission)
  • Develop, communicate and execute upon inside sales account gameplans including weekly and daily goals/quotas, pitch scripts aligning with broader business objectives, and transition planning for secured accounts
  • Monitor and track the activity of the Inside Sales team, ensuring they meet growth objectives within their targeted, and report on performance to the Regional Sales Directors and broader commercial leadership team
  • Onboard / train customers as needed
  • Ensure compliance documentation is up to date for all new and existing target retailers
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Directors and Sales Operations to analyze market trends and discover new opportunities for growth, evaluate and set sales objectives on an account basis, and integrate efforts into the broader region's tracking and account management
  • Evaluate PAX online dispensary menu presence, identifying opportunities to enhance placement, product descriptions and imagery
  • Concurrently manage a team of Inside Sales Associates while individually managing a book of business
  • Ensure all new accounts uploaded to SFDC/SOR
  • Facilitate dispensary support and order fulfillment using available resources and tools

  • Excellent time-management skills


Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree and 3+ years of experience in retail, telemarketing, customer service, or lead generation role
  • State Law requires that applicants be 21 years old
  • Ability to work independently, run multiple concurrent projects, and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
  • Willing to undergo a background check in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws
  • CPG experience preferred; familiarity with cannabis or another highly regulated, fragmented industry a plus


Compensation


This role has a pay range between $28-32/hour + 10% commission on first order from new accounts.This pay range represents what we believe, in good faith, this role will pay. The final pay will depend on many factors, including years and depth of experience, level, and location of the employee. We only expect to pay the top of the range in rare and exceptional circumstances, for candidates that far exceed the requirements and expectations of the position.
