Base Pay Range:
$45,800.00 - $62,000.00

Job Summary:
**Remote Opportunity **
The Manager, Inside Sales position is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Inside Sales Specialists towards the achievement of key sales performance metrics. The Manager will drive continuous improvement with customer/prospective customer engagement by phone and sales of vehicles, value-added products, and financing options. Employee will manage a pipeline of opportunities with a focus on increasing sales conversions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Performance manage team to ensure Vroom culture as well as performance expectations are met and where possible exceeded
  • Identifies opportunities to coach and develop team through data to drive greater performance
  • Regular tactical reviews of a salesperson performance
  • Drive continuous improvement in key sales performance metrics
  • Escalation point for customers
  • Regular analysis of performance metrics and reports
  • Escalation point for product discounts
  • Lead, coach and develop team of inside sales specialists
  • Regular coaching on both soft and hard skills to drive greater individual and team performance
  • Accountable for sales performance metrics within team
  • Identify areas of opportunity within the sales script and process

Job Requirements:
  • Experience within automotive or customer service function highly preferred
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Knowledge and experience in leading through adversity
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Must be comfortable working weekends and evenings
  • Strong experience in Salesforce technology
  • High School diploma required
  • 5 plus years of sales leadership experience
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels
