Job Description

Are you passionate about the Medicare population, looking for an opportunity to work in sales from your own home, and wanting the ability to directly impact your own income potential? If so, we are looking for licensed, highly motivated, and self-driven individuals to join our team.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will work independently to achieve sales goals to maximize Humana’s growth while retaining current membership. Our Inside Sales Agents have a passion for assisting people, especially Medicare consumers, to provide the best healthcare benefit options to meet their needs, while building relationships that improve the health and well-being of our members. You will utilize a consumer-centric, consultative selling approach to align our consumers’ healthcare needs with the appropriate products from Humana’s portfolio. You will need to model a high level of professionalism, integrity, and quality with every consumer phone interaction. Humana has an inclusive and diverse culture and is looking for candidates with bilingual skill sets in Korean to service our consumers.

Required Qualifications

  • A dedicated workspace minimizing ongoing interruptions, and which keeps consumer’s information private
  • Bilingual with the ability to speak, read and write in both English and Korean without limitations or assistance
  • High-speed cable or DSL Internet connection that must be hard-wire to the computer (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is not allowed for this role
  • Minimum internet speed of 25Mbps for download and 10Mbps for upload
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, nights, and weekends as needed to meet business demands
  • Ability to meet the Work at Home Requirements:
    • High-speed cable or DSL Internet connection that must be hard-wire to the computer (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is not allowed for this role
    • Minimum internet speed of 25Mbps for download and 10Mbps for upload
    • A dedicated workspace minimizing ongoing interruptions, and which keeps consumer’s information private
  • Prior experience using multiple applications/software and multiple screens simultaneously


Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Health Insurance License. Humana will pay for and help candidates achieve this license if they do not already possess the license.
  • Healthcare industry and/or insurance experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree


Additional Information

  • Training Hours – Training will start day one of employment and run the first 7 weeks with a schedule of 10:30 am to 7:00 pm EST. Attendance is vital for success
  • Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Language Proficiency Assessment (LPA) in that language(s) and English as provided and required by the Federal Government.
  • Department Hours – Shift could fall between the business hours of 8:00 am to 11:00 pm local time. Hours are subject to change based on business needs
