Summary


The role of the Internal Sales position is to service the needs of the company's existing clients, respond to new sales inquiries and to support the activities of the Colorado Safety Supply Team and help grow the business to hit team goals. This position is well suited to individuals with excellent communication & people skills and is one of the best ways for anyone considering an outbound sales role to gain relevant experience.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Upsell Safety Training and Consulting Services.
  • Identify sales leads and escalate them to external sales staff.
  • Resolve customer product concerns and warranty or goodwill issues.
  • Receive, manage, or escalate customer complaints related to the sale of the company's products/services.
  • Create constant communication with your contacts by developing and maintaining accurate and current client information.
  • Upsell Safety equipment, products, and services to end users in a specified geographically or demographically defined market while maintaining residual business (House accounts and new business).
  • Represent the company in an ethical and professional manner.
  • Provide administrative support for the production of RFIs, RFPs, RFQs and other sales related documents (estimates, S/O and P/O status).
  • Maintain current book of business and strategize on how to best utilize the information provided to grow the business.
  • Achieve targets for revenue growth and profitability (track within the CRM- when available).
  • Maintain sound long-term relationships with customers.
  • Receive inbound customer sales inquiries and provide quotations, product / service information, support, and pricing details.


What you’ll need to succeed


  • QuickBooks and HubSpot experience preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills and a growing sales focus.
  • Industry experience and application knowledge.
  • Excellent organization and administrative skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Sales experience preferred.
