Infrastructure Project Manager

Location – Onshore (US) Denver/Boulder/Louisville, Colorado area.Hybrid role

Full Time / Contract

Responsibilities

• Work with both IT and business program owners to identify accurate resource estimates
• Establish and maintain effective communications with stakeholders and senior management. Communicate project status to identified stakeholders through routine status reports and meetings
• Work with IT leadership to provide support/delegation of support of technology cutover as required, including but not limited to connecting, configuring, and testing hardware, networking equipment, and other onsite endpoints
• Capture, publish, and follow up on meeting notes, action items, and other inter-team communications
• Where appropriate, coordinate third-party vendor activities to ensure project success
• Initiate and maintain issues logs, taking responsibility for identifying and coordinating resolution of all technical and business issues
• Bring extensive experience with both agile and waterfall processes
• Create, track, and status project plans including: milestone schedules, scope, resource plans, budgets and cross-functional dependencies

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing budgets and proven success in juggling multiple priorities and projects
• Track record of successfully working with cross-functional teams – business users, project managers, architecture, QA, release and engineering teams
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
• Bonus:Experience with data center migrations and cloud adoption
• Metric driven team management using Agile methodologies
• Strong project management, communication and facilitation skills and the ability to work with various levels of the organization
• Knowledge of project/demand planning tools (MS Project, Sharepoint, Jira, Confluence)
• 10+ years of project management experience, focusing on infrastructure delivery with a proven track record of successful project delivery, from inception through implementation

Desired Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field and/or equivalent work experience

·Strong Communication skills (verbal and written) with an ability to work in a highly collaborative environment

·Good organizational skills with the ability to track and prioritize numerous tasks

·Proactive personality with a proven track record of following through and delivering on responsibilities

·Highly adaptive and capable of being an individual contributor and working as part of an extended team

·PMP certification
