The Information Technology Director is responsible for the Bank's information technology strategies, policies, and procedures, which in turn support the Bank's overall strategic plan. Appropriate project, staff, and budget management across all IT departments is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Manage the performance of team personnel to include communication of goals and an annual evaluation of completing these goals.
- Oversee the Change Management process.
- Work with the Information Security Officer to be the points of contact for all internal and external IT auditors. You and the Information Security Officer will coordinate communication from the Bank to the IT auditors.
- Cyber Security: The Cyber Security manager will report directly to the IT Director. The duties associated with Cyber Security shall be performed in a compliant and timely manner. Duties of that department include, at a minimum:
- Ensure any IT-related audit findings are remediated within an acceptable time frame.
- Manage and monitor the support queue to ensure incidents and requests are assigned and addressed according to Service Level Agreements.
- Project Management Office. The Project Management Manager will report directly to the IT Director. The duties associated with the Project Management Office shall be performed in a compliant and timely manner. Duties of that department include, at a minimum:
- Host regularly scheduled project meetings with project teams and sponsors.
- IT Infrastructure: The IT Infrastructure Manager will report directly to the IT Director. The duties associated with IT Infrastructure shall be performed in a compliant and timely manner. Duties of that department include, at a minimum:
- Perform continual evaluation of Cyber Security tools to ensure appropriate security solution are deployed. Make recommendations for new products as needed.
- Establish and maintain processes to manage the scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects.
- IBM iSeries systems
- Network Equipment
- Ensure functionality and security of the WAN, all LANs, firewalls, content filtering software, and other devices that interface with public networks.
- Ensure appropriate level of security monitoring and report/log review is in place.
- Virtual Infrastructure
- IT Service Desk: The IT Service Desk Manager will report directly to the IT Director. The duties associated with the IT Service Desk shall be performed in a compliant and timely manner. Duties of that department include, at a minimum:
- Ensure IT Infrastructure trouble tickets are worked to completion within an acceptable time frame.
- Generate Service Desk reports and metrics as requested by management.
- Configuration, maintenance, and patching of the following:
- Virtual Infrastructure
- Backup and Replication systems
- IBM iSeries systems
- Microsoft Servers, Endpoints, Azure, and o365 deployments
- Network Equipment
- Backup and Replication systems
- Continual emphasis on Customer Service and Information Technology Infrastructure Library principles.
- Microsoft Servers, Endpoints, Azure, and o365 deployments
- Provide appropriate telephone services to all associates.
- Ensure timely provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts for applicable software applications (Active Directory, iSeries, etc.)
- Evaluate project progress to ensure compliance with company standards and timelines, and when necessary, adapt scope and timelines to ensure that projects comply with requirements.
- Ensure bank information is secure and protected at multiple levels (cloud, edge, network, device, etc.).
- Ensure timely and accurate user provisioning, deprovisioning, and permissions assignments are completed appropriately on IBM and Microsoft servers, and desktop operating systems.
- Develop, test, and maintain Disaster Recovery procedures for all applicable systems
- Ensure all projects are worked to completion, and in accordance to associated timelines.
Qualifications:
Education/Skills:
4-year degree or comparable experience required.
Close attention to detail required.
Must be able to effectively communicate, interact, and work with individuals and groups.
Work Experience:
5 years of relevant work experience required.
Physical Demands:
This position may require sitting for long periods of time. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
