Job Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the assistant division director of industries,

• Consult with supervisor on matters related to administrative/business management activities.
• Other duties as needed and required to accomplish our mission.
• Provide assistance/expertise to other areas as required.
• Assists in preparation & performance activities related to fiscal mgmt, procurement, supply services, etc. monitor agency policies related to division and update as needed.
• Schedule subject to change.
• Assist institutional staff with their operations as required/needed to ensure adequate resources.
• Supports the division with complex special assignments through confidential investigations & research, while adhering to the agency mission; safety, service & stewardship to ensure cost/procedural effectiveness.
• Create quality assurance plans, develop, and maintain project tracking.
• Prepare status reports & comminate progress, expectations, timelines, and other key metrics.

Must successfully complete eight (8) week SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

Minimum And Additional Requirements
State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A High School diploma and relevant program experience.
A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
SCDC Minimum Requirements: (or an acceptable equivalency as approved by the Division of State Human Resources).
