Industrial Engineering Manager Jobs

Position Overview

Navistar is looking for a qualified Industrial Engineering Manager in our San Antonio, TX plant. This person will interface with Engineering, understand product changes, Assign Projects, and do Time Studies in addition to other duties to be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Manages a team of industrial engineers to ensure processes are optimized for current production.
• Engages with AME team to ensure tooling and equipment, product and processes are optimal to integrate into the current production process.
• Supports planning and implementation of new product introductions.
• Identifies opportunities to improve processes and assigns projects to engineers for execution.
• Interfaces with NPI Manager to ensure engineering part updates are assigned and implemented.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 8 years of product manufacturing experience
• At least 2 years of management experience

OR

• Master’s degree
• At least 6 years of product manufacturing experience
• At least 2 years of management experience

OR

• At least 2 years of management experience
• At least 10 years of product manufacturing experience

Additional Requirements

• Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

• Supervisory Experience: 6 people
• Experience in a automotive or heavy industry production environment
• Experience with MODAPTS, Standard Time Reference, MOST is what we use.
• MS Office, Especially Excel
• Lean Manufacturing Concepts
