Job Description

Responsibilities:


Project Management and Reporting

  • Provide end-to-end project management and execution throughout processing implementation projects including certification, project launch, pilot testing, etc.
  • Work with client project manager to understand client's needs and provide technical, operational and product consultancy to UnionPay clients
  • Handle multiple implementation projects in parallel.


Relationship Management

  • Liaise, build and enhance relationships with UnionPay members, processors and internal stakeholders
  • Partner with Account Executives to identify additional business opportunities.


Implementation activities

  • Guide customers through applicable UnionPay processing rules, specification and documentation.
  • Setup workshops with the institutions to discuss operational and technical requirements for the new projects and facilitate new program installations.
  • Serve as a consultant and subject matter expert to clients and internal teams to provide technical expertise.


Daily Operation Support

  • Provide daily operation support such as BIN loading, transaction quality analysis, and settlement issue follow-up etc.
  • Work on market research and information collection tasks assigned by the HQ Operation Dept. Help HQ Operation Dept to complete special programs such as local pricing, regulatory policy research, compliance audit, etc.
  • Keep in close communication with HQ Operation Support Dept, the overseas offices and the institutions. Collect the advice from UPI overseas offices and institutions on business rules, technical specifications, dispute resolution and risk management. Conduct the training, support or explanation sessions for overseas offices and institutions.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or Similar Degree

· 3-5 years experiences in project management/customer support role in card payment industry, chip card technology, software, financial or information services

· Strong understanding of payment processing systems, formats and associated customer host interface testing services and principles.

· Experience in ISO8583 message framework and knowledge in Internet programming

· Strong ability to comprehend and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

· Ability to interact well with the customer, Sr. and Executive management.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to leverage these skills in a teaching environment.

· Self-Starter with ability to work independently.

· Ability to work across different time zone and willing to travel
