Vice President of M&A and Integrations

POSITION SUMMARY
The VP of M&A and Integrations will work directly with the executive team to build out Alvita Care’s M&A function. Most immediately, the VP of M&A will be tasked with serving as post-acquisition “interim CEO” of 1-2 target companies currently under LOI. This position will report to the COO and work closely with the President.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter and entrepreneurial. She or he is a natural leader who can inspire followership and displays excellent project management, problem-solving, and executional skills. The candidate will have experience in both driving operational excellence and team/ client satisfaction.
Location of the opportunity is flexible but will require travel within the Northeast.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create best-in-class repeatable integration playbook.
- Build meaningful relationships with outgoing sellers and key employees at target to ensure smooth transition.
- Ensure execution of deal thesis, including capture of revenue and cost synergies.
- Build relationships and nurture prospective targets.
- Serve as project manager to seamlessly lead all integration efforts.
- Serve as “interim CEO” of target companies for 3-4 months post-acquisition.
- Manage relationships with broker networks to source deals in target geographies.
- Work with President and VP of Finance to manage deal process, including business diligence, legal diligence, quality of earnings assessment.
- Recruit general manager to backfill position as leader of newly acquired company / regional operation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to implement and manage according to key metrics.
- Experience driving cross-functional change based on client feedback.
- Ability to hire “A” talent and retain employees, maintaining engagement and eNPS.
- Ability to implement repeatable tech enabled processes.
- Significant project management experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Metric driven.
- MBA from top-tier university preferred but not required.
