Hvac Install Helper/ Fort Worth

We're looking for friendly, clean-cut, professional HVAC Install Helpers who have a positive attitude and take pride in doing it right the first time! Quality work is required- no shortcuts. The person in this role will assist the Lead Installer while he or she performs skilled mechanical maintenance in the inspection, repair, installation and alteration of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and related equipment in all types of temperature.

Job Requirements

• Assist in ensuring connection of gas lines to heating equipment is properly done
• Receive all materials and equipment required for each job, confirm and load them into company vehicle
• Ability to climb, stoop, balance, crouch, crawl, or/and kneel continually.
• Strong ability to operate under severe temperature conditions of 120 degrees or more for long periods of time.
• Ability to work on weekends, at night and overtime.
• Assist installation of flex and sheet metal duct systems residential homes
• Assist the Installer while he or she performs skilled electrical maintenance work in the repair, installation and alteration of HVAC equipment, components, timers, motors and any other wiring system as needed.
• Assist in determining the right material needed for installation work by pre-measuring jobs
• Carry out readings on machines with the full understanding of the implication of such readings
• Create and maintain cordial and collaborative working relationships with both superiors and co-workers
• Assist Lead Installer of HVAC related equipment following company policies and manufacturer's specifications
• Ensure assigned company vehicle is kept clean
• Provide necessary support to other team members to be able to complete tasks on time as instructed by management
• Assist in installation of copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering
• Communicate all parts orders and requisitions to dispatch coordination.
• Perform any other duty that may be directed by management

Qualifications / Skills

• Ability to display professional company image
• EPA License preferred but not required - can be obtained through A #1 Air
• Good driving record and current valid license
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 100lbs safely
• Qualify for state registration.
