Wright Childcare Solutions and The Learning Loft Childcare Centers
Job Category & Title: Human Resource Manager, Full-time
Reports to: Compliance and Certification Director
Description: To maintain Human Resources compliance for all licenses and accreditations. To provide support to supervisors and employees throughout the agency. This position requires strong organizational, communication and time management skills.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Model the Core Values: The Learning Loft’s core values are Inclusion, Safety, Quality, Accountability, accessibility and family experience.
Employee Charts: Ensure all personnel charts, both paper and electronic, are current through ongoing auditing.
External Communication: Interact professionally on behalf of The Learning Loft with external agencies including but not limited to FMLA, Worker’s Compensation, Unemployment and medical benefits.
Hiring and Termination Process: Place ads, screen potential interview candidates, schedule and conduct interviews, conduct exit interviews and close charts.
Enrollment: Ensure the enrollment for new hires is successfully completed by collecting new hire employment paperwork, completing payroll forms, assisting new hires with signing up for benefits.
Policy and Procedures: Assist with the writing and implementing of Human Resources and The Learning Loft policies and procedures.
Attention to Detail: Ensure all information requested from/required by the HR department is accurate, error free, and timely.
Knowledge/Skills Required:
Strong working knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processes.
Understanding of the full recruitment process.
Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain a high degree of confidentiality and resolve issues.
Knowledge and ability to interact with human resources software.
Excellent organizational ability with a great attention to detail.
Solid problem-solving and mediation abilities.
Excellent communication (written, verbal, listening, and public speaking) skills.
Must be service oriented with a focus on helping others.
Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications (Education Requirements/Experience):
Bachelors in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in the Human Resources field.
