The Human Resources Assistant will assist with management of the online application process to ensure the timely completion of related new-hire paperwork. Coordinate with HR Manager to maintain efficiencies in HR departmental procedures and processes.

• Prepare employee badges and maintenance of employee badge database.
• Assist HR Manager with projects, including benefits administration and the open enrollment process.
• Order and maintain department supplies, forms and materials.
• Perform special projects as directed by the HR Manager
• Assist with the online process of opening and closing job requisitions.
• Maintain employee emergency contact data and ensure information is current.
• Maintain up to date files for BEK employees.
• Compile reports and develop various types of correspondence as directed by the HR Manager
• Collaborate with HR teams in other Divisions as required.

Job Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge/use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Outstanding PC skills, with exceptional data entry (10-key by touch and alpha- numeric) skills.
• At least 4 years of office experience performing related HR duties preferred
• Proficient with the use of internet and e-mail applications required.
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Familiarity with Food Service policies and procedures desired
• Ability to learn and use relevant internal applications
• Bachelor’s Degree in HR or equivalent experience required
