The HR Assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources department and assists in various HR functions. They are responsible for maintaining employee records, processing paperwork, coordinating HR activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The HR Assistant plays a crucial role in promoting a positive employee experience and supporting the HR team in delivering efficient and effective HR services.
Responsibilities:
Maintain employee records: Manage and update employee files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information.
Assist with recruitment: Coordinate job postings, schedule interviews, and assist in candidate screening and selection processes.
Onboarding and offboarding: Facilitate new employee orientation, prepare onboarding materials, conduct exit interviews, and handle related administrative tasks.
Benefits administration: Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, inquiries, and vendor coordination.
HR documentation: Prepare and process HR documents, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and performance appraisal forms.
HRIS and data management: Enter and maintain employee data in the HR information system (HRIS), generate reports, and assist with data analysis as needed.
HR policies and compliance: Assist in communicating and implementing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company guidelines.
Employee relations: Handle employee inquiries, provide general HR information, and assist in resolving employee issues or concerns.
Training and development: Coordinate training programs and assist in tracking employee training records.
HR projects and initiatives: Support HR team members in various projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, performance management, and HR process improvements.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Assistant role or similar administrative position.
- Familiarity with HRIS and other HR software applications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.
- Fluency in English and Chinese (verbal and written).
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.

Salary: $4,000.00 - $5,500.00 per month
