Human Resources Assistant Jobs

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a contract HR Assistant for our client, an incredible Portland, Oregon Design and Management company that is a leading provider in bridging the gap between design, production, and training personnel!

This role is perfect for a professional experienced in office support with a strong desire to be a part of an innovative team within an organization providing extensive management services! The HR Assistant will report to the Project Manager and assist with creating the schedule for Union employees. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity based in North Portland and is ready for immediate hire!

The Perks:

Responsibilities:

• Analyze vacancies on hourly employees
• Participate in Job Bid Process
• Ensure employees receive training materials
• Weekend scheduling and posting
• Work directly with the Union in regard to labor relations
• Vacation scheduling
• Input data into Kronos
• Daily employee scheduling and posting
• Payrolling responsibility
• Tracking overtime for employees

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Preferred 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and technical skills
• Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation
• Kronos experience is a plus!
• Union labor management is a plus!
