Human Resources Payroll and Leave Administrator
Position Overview:
The Human Resources Administrator his position is focused on assuring accuracy of all personnel/employment records in the Lawson HRIS system, and a variety of Human Resources administrative responsibilities, including but not limited to timesheets, payroll, disability processing, office maintenance and file upkeep.

Executive Director of Human Resources
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assist with the management of the Flexible Spending Accounts and Commuter Benefit plans.
- Process, coordinate and track all types of employment leaves (STD, LTD, FMLA, PFL, Workers Compensation, etc.) in collaboration with departmental management, staff, and external carriers.
- Assist with ad-hoc HR projects as assigned.
- Assist in yearly projects within the Human Resources Department as needed.
- Assist the HR department in the processing of new hires and terminated employees when needed.
- Prepare routine correspondence on behalf of employees and respond to employee questions or concerns.
- Manage all HR aspects of the Kronos Workforce Ready system for time, attendance, and payroll.
- Assist as needed in the maintenance of employee records on the HRIS (Lawson System) for all institutions under Central Services, such as compensation, benefits, and performance reviews.
- Manage and prepare all departmental invoicing and expense reports.
- Complete other clerical and administrative duties (filing, ordering office supplies, reception).
- Maintain up-to-date policies, procedures, labor law posters, and related forms and post them internally and to the Human Resources website as needed.
- Develop and produce computer reports and analyses, as required.
- Create internal forms and prepare internal notices and correspondence.
- Perform various research projects using manual and automated means.
- Assist in administering the various aspects of staffing, salary administration, performance management, employee relations, and the Lawson HRIS system.
- Maintain paper and computer-based time and attendance records for all employees, including reporting.
Education, Experience and Skills:
- Team player with the ability to work independently as needed.
- Able to carry out multiple and diverse tasks concurrently under the direction of HR senior management.
- Prior experience in communicating with employees, management, other departments and outside service providers preferred.
- SHRM-CP or PHR Certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or another related field required.
- 2+ years of human resources administrative support experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to multitask effectively. Highly organized. Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of office automation technology. Technology savvy and ability to learn software systems adeptly.
- Excellent analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills. Detail oriented.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite particularly in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
