Job Description
Human Resources Administrative Assistant
Pasadena, TX
Are you looking to get your foot in the door and start a career in the HR department? PSC has an exciting opportunity for an HR Assistant who will be assisting with various tasks in our employee’s lifecycle. In this role, you will have the opportunity to interface with all levels of leaders and employees throughout the company.
Work Schedule:Monday- Friday
Job Duties& Responsibilities
  • Ensures compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Assists in reviewing and tracking monthly employee survey feedback
  • Prepares various HR-related reports for audits and compliance reviews.
  • Assists with ad-hoc duties and projects as needed
  • Assists with documenting new hire drug screen and background results
  • Completes any other duties as assigned
  • Maintains employee records and updates HR databases accordingly
  • Assists with the completion of electronic I-9s
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and general HR-related questions.
Preferred Job Qualifications
  • Highly self-motivated, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Recognizes strong principles of customer service, professionalism and confidentiality to all external clients, potential employees, as well as our internal co-workers and support staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to be a collaborative team player
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of leadership
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Minimum Job Qualifications:
  • 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Stable work history with good references from past employers
  • Pass a drug screen, and background check.
  • PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
