The HR Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR and accounting departments at the direction of the Controller, including but not limited to answering phones, filing, new hire onboarding, and benefits. The ideal candidate will have a desire to work in the field of HR long-term, along with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Job Duties:
- Provide administrative support to all accounting departments.
- Assistance in general office functions, such as answering telephone calls, filing, etc.
- Answer phone(s) with a professional manner and positive attitude.
- Other general administrative duties, as assigned.
- Other HR administrative functions, as assigned.
- Operate all office equipment such as personal computers, copiers, and fax machines.
- Directly support HR functions including new hire onboarding, privacy data, and benefits and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources preferred, or a strong desire to start a career in HR.
- 6 months - 1-year related work experience, preferably in an office environment or as an administrative assistant.
- Capacity to work independently and perform a variety of complex tasks with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate accurately and effectively with all levels of staff and management.
Compensation: $22/hr
Availability: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
