The Role
Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, this Houston based position will play a key role on our global HR team, serving as the regional HR leader for Houston and Latin America (Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina). In this position, to increase organizational efficiency and drive a high-performance culture within the region while aligning strategy, initiatives and culture with the Americas and Global HR teams. You will work with the regional HR team to serve as a Business Partner, Operations lead and advisor to Business Leaders driving key HR strategies impacting business performance. These include organizational design, compensation cycles and retention strategies, employee and leadership development and workforce planning and performance management coaching. In this role you will use your knowledge of HR to diagnose, implement and confer on HR processes and programs, and work with other members of the HR team to drive enterprise and region-specific initiatives in support of the business strategy and goals.
Your Impact
- Build and deliver regional specific HR initiatives in support of the business strategy. Cultivate strong and influential working relationships with client leadership team and employees.
- Assess, design, and implement change management strategies/programs for regional HR initiatives; brokers with COEs to provide the right resources for the initiative to ensure successful outcomes.
- Cultivate strong and influential working relationships with client leadership team and employees.
- Coach and counsel leaders and managers. Provide tools and guidance that enable management effectiveness and drive high organizational performance.
- Drive talent management initiatives to identify, assess, develop, engage, and reward successful and high potential talent.
- Use data, measures, and analytics to influence decisions and guide prioritization and investment of resources.
- Ensure the success of key programs and HR initiatives, such as talent reviews, succession planning, on-boarding, hiring, operational improvements and employee development planning.
What You'll Need
- Collaborative and customer-focused with ability to develop strong and influential business relationships.
- Strong operational experience, focused on HR processes, policies and compliance in the US and Latin America countries, in addition, has comprehensive, proven experience with the complexities within the Latin American countries.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Proven ability to align HR strategy to business needs for a measurable impact.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience required.
- Independent thinking and innovative mind, with an ability to be resourceful when needed.
- 15 years of progressive experience in Human Resources management supporting a global organization.
- Proven ability to work effectively with remote multiple sites over great distances.
- Proven capabilities in guiding organizations through periods of significant scale and change.
- Comfortable to challenge the status quo with a passion to deliver results in a dynamic environment.
