Job Description
Vaco Boston is partnered with a leading retail company in the Atlanta, GA area. Currently, we are seeking a driven, proven HR Operations Manager to join our team. This position would directly be supporting the the Director of HR/Operations. This HR Operations Manager is responsible for managing HR project work and a part of SOX and controls to ensure that the delivery of HR services meet business, service level, and cost requirements.
The position also oversees the development of HR processes and policies:
  • SOX and controls
  • Workforce administration
  • HR systems
  • Reporting
  • Projects
  • HR Data management
  • Oversee global relocation & mobility program
  • Manage People Operations workflows, documentation, data, and tools
  • Experience managing benefits administration, including health and welfare programs, and leave of absence administration
  • Conduct process mapping to develop and deploy transactional HR processes; continuously seek ways to increase efficiency and effectiveness and recommend improvements
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations of the HR Operations team
  • Proactively audit and coordinate established procedures and HR Operations
  • Lead review of all people processes to identify opportunities to better meet the needs of business, drive efficiency and improve the associate experience
  • Effectively manage and partner with external vendors, including but not limited to leading RFP processes and less formal processes, to select, hire and onboard vendors
  • Ensure the deployment of HR technologies
  • Track, analyze, and communicate key success metrics
  • Manages transformation processes and change management within the team
  • Facilitate continuous process improvement of the user experience with HR through partnerships within the HR organization
  • Ensure responsive HR service delivery and issue resolution for employees
Requirements
  • Solid understanding of US immigration policies
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • 5+ years of experience in HR Operations or related field
  • University degree required (preferably in Human Resources or another relevant field)
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in HCM system is required (i.e. PeopleSoft or Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, etc)
  • Experience working with SOX and controls
  • Management experience in a shared services center
  • Experience in process transformation
  • Previous experience managing
