People Architects is excited to recruit for a full-time HR Generalist/Office Manager for our partner: The Oxbridge Group. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment with a strong inclusive company culture based in NYC. This is a first time HR hire, and you will have the autonomy to create your role.
Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Design and manage company policy and procedures for items such as employee handbook, performance reviews,office policies and development processes.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices.
- Perform and manage recruitment process for open company positions including job description design, sourcing, interviewing, hiring and onboarding.
- Oversee the ongoing administration of benefits programs which includes managing communications with employees and benefit providers
Office Manager:
- Lead and manage our robust client seasonal gift program ensuring all information is accurate and concise.
- Manage and monitor associate workload capacity and distribute accordingly.
- Manage daily office operations including maintaining a clean and orderly office environment, handling correspondence, managing file systems, purchasing and maintaining inventory of office supplies, managing and supervising junior staff as requested.
- Handle all invoices, insurance carrier billing and background checks on employees prior to hire.
- Develop training programs as needed.
Qualifications for success in this role:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years previous experience in an Human Resources Generalist capacity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as advanced knowledge of HR functions
- Exceptional organizational skills and a team player attitude.
Posted Salary:
The base range for this position is $75,500.00- $97,000.00 commensurate with experience. In addition, there is a comprehensive benefits package.
