Job Description

Our client, a premier in-home personal care company providing services to people of all ages and levels of need, is seeking a Senior HR Generalist / Human Resources Business Partner looking to take their skillset to the next level!


POSITION SUMMARY

As the HRBP / HR Regional Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the HR operations for multiple locations within a specified region. Your primary objective will be to ensure effective HR practices, policies, and strategies are implemented across the region to support the company's mission, vision, and values. You will play a crucial role in driving employee engagement, talent management and retention, performance management, compliance, and fostering a positive work culture within the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's objectives, including talent management, retention, performance management, employee relations, and succession planning.

2. Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution. Provide guidance and support to managers in handling employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.

3. Performance Management: Manage performance management programs, including performance evaluations, goal setting, and development plans. Train and support managers in effectively managing employee performance.

4. Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate the delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and professional development.

5. Compliance and Policy Development: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations within the region. Develop and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with legal requirements and best practices.

6. Employee Engagement and Culture: Foster a positive and inclusive work culture within the region, promoting employee engagement initiatives, employee recognition programs, and employee wellness initiatives.

7. HR Metrics and Reporting: Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports on key HR indicators, such as turnover rates, training effectiveness, recruitment metrics, and employee satisfaction.

8. Collaborative Partnerships: Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regional managers, department heads, and corporate HR team members, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on HR initiatives.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

• Proven experience (at least one year) in a Senior HR Generalist or HRBP role, preferably in the healthcare or home care industry.

• Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.

• Experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and training and development.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
