Summary:


Due to growth, Lazer Logistics has an opening for an HR Clerk, reporting to the HR Manager, located in its Alpharetta, GA corporate office.The critical role will interact OR have exposure to the Regional and Site Manager(s), HR & Recruiting, Accounting & Payroll, Operations and other departments that may be involved in HR related activities. This position benefits from working in an energetic flexible work environment.


The HR Clerk is responsible for processing HR related employee status and documents in a rapid paced environment. This role will require a strong organizational, communication, data processing and basic understanding of Federal and State regulations, as well as company payroll policies and procedures.


The HR Clerk is a member of the HR team and have opportunity for advancement within HR & Retention, or Benefits, and could move to other areas of the organization.


Core and Responsibilities:


  • Partner with other departments (i.e. Payroll, Legal, Operations) to maintain strong inter-departmental relationships and ensure high level of customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Process and review all HR related interfaces
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements and automating manual processes where possible.
  • Process new hires, employee changes, leaves of absence, and terminations according to federal and/or state law
  • Monitor, review, research and respond to inquiries from employees across all levels via email or phone.
  • Maintain close relationships with area managers, operations managers, and general managers; assist them with HR related inquiries
  • Process and monitor employee (driver and non driver) documentary requirements for salaried and hourly employees, full-time and part-time; ensure the accuracy of data entry.
  • Produce monitoring reports, and special ad hoc reports
  • Timely review and assess application qualification to ensure minimum qualification requirements are met for hiring
