Job Description

As an HR Business Partner at USA Mortgage, your primary responsibility will be to align HR strategies with business objectives and support the overall success of the organization. You will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing HR expertise and guidance to drive employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with business leaders: Collaborate with department heads and executives to understand their business objectives and identify HR needs to support those objectives.
  2. Employee relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and recommending appropriate actions.
  3. Talent management: Drive talent acquisition efforts by partnering with recruitment teams to attract and retain top talent. Develop and implement strategies for talent development, succession planning, and career progression.
  4. Performance management: Provide guidance and support to managers in performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and performance improvement plans.
  5. Training and development: Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies. Conduct training sessions as necessary.
  6. HR policy and compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company values and legal requirements.
  7. Compensation and benefits: Collaborate with the compensation team to ensure competitive and fair compensation practices. Provide guidance on employee benefits and administer employee programs.
  8. HR analytics: Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  9. Change management: Support organizational change initiatives by providing guidance and support to managers and employees. Help manage the impact of change on individuals and teams.

Requirements:

  1. Education and experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a business partner role.
  2. HR expertise: Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws. Experience in managing employee relations, talent management, performance management, and organizational development initiatives.
  3. Business acumen: Demonstrated understanding of business operations and the ability to align HR strategies with business goals. Proven track record of delivering HR solutions that support business objectives.
  4. Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex HR concepts to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  5. Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to identify issues, gather relevant information, and develop practical solutions.
  6. Relationship building: Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with business leaders, managers, and employees. Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
  7. Change management: Experience in supporting organizational change initiatives and managing the impact of change on individuals and teams.
  8. HR technology: Proficiency in HR systems and tools. Experience with HRIS platforms and HR analytics is a plus.
