HR Assistant :
The HR Assistant position is vital to the effective functioning of the HR department. We are seeking an experienced individual who can provide administrative support to our HR team and contribute to the overall success of our organization. The primary responsibilities of this HR Assistant will revolve around managing 1099 contractor invoices and mileage logs. maintenance and organization of HR-related records, ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, and assisting with various HR programs and processes. This is a part-time, non-exempt, fully remote position.
Responsibilities:
1. Review 1099 subcontractor invoices for completeness and accuracy and submit them for compensation.
2. Review mileage logs for subcontractors for completeness and accuracy and submit for compensation.
3. Provide administrative support to the HR team.
4. Assist with HR projects, such as policy development, HR system implementation, and employee surveys.
5. Stay up-to-date with HR best practices and legal requirements and ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in Human Resources or related field is a plus.
2. Proven work experience as an HR Assistant or similar administrative role.
3. Experience working with 1099 Contractors/subcontracotrs required.
4. Knowledge of HR processes, policies, and procedures.
5. Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
6. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
10. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
11. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
