Job Description
Are you a talented HR Advisor, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have experience supporting managers, dealing with policies and delivering the HR strategy? If so then you could be perfect for my client, a Social Welfare Charity.


This role is to support South EastEngland region (BN-CR3). This role is full time and 35 hours a week. It is a 12 month FTC.


The Role: In this HR Advisor role, you will report to Head of HR. Specific tasks include:


  • Provide high level HR advice and guidance on complex Employee Relations cases to managers in your region.
  • Support managers on a one-to-one basis to carry out HR related processes.
  • Work closely with other teams to delivering solutions to the charity across Recruitment, HR Systems, Reward and payroll.
  • Support managers in the decision-making process.
  • Ensure across the charity there is consistency and provide training if needed.
  • Ensure personal knowledge and awareness of relevant legislation.
  • Manage and lead on all operational duties.
  • Support the implementation of all HR policies and practices.


The Candidate: To be considered for the HR Advisor role you will need to demonstrable prior experience working within HR.


Additionally, It's Crucial That You Possess The Following


  • Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
  • An understanding of HR legislation.
  • Experience of successfully advising and coaching line managers on HR issues.
  • Recruitment and Selection experience
  • Experience of designing and writing HR policies, procedures, offers and contracts of employment.
  • Experience of employee relations casework and of delivering HR training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
