Job Description
SUMMARY:
The HR Administrator will report to the Director of Human Resources and be responsible for supporting the HR department with general administrative tasks including employee record management, attendance, HR-administered programs, and various other tasks as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Possess the ability to answer and explain questions regarding the No-Fault attendance policy.
  • Manage Bargaining Unit Attendance and complete weekly timecard audits and reports.
  • Verify the organization’s state and federal compliance posters are up-to-date on-site and on the Company‘s intranet.
  • Coordinate and distribute new hire orientation information.
  • Provide attendance discipline notifications, coaching, and assistance to supervisors.
  • Track and reconcile department expenses.
  • Perform general front-office administrative duties.
  • Administer all temporary employees’ time weekly.
  • Configure and reconcile documents in Docuware.
  • Ensure accurate and complete record entries in multiple HRIS systems including ADP E-Time, Workforce Now, Docuware, and Syberworks.
  • Manage service awards administration and serve as employee point-of-contact for concerns related to service awards.
  • Manage the VA on-the-job training program and serve as employee point-of-contact for follow-up. Must document time and ensure appropriate documentation is sent and processed in a timely manner.
DEPARTMENT-SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Provide Receptionist/Front Desk coverage on an as-needed basis.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
  • Support cross-departmental teams and projects as necessary.
  • Assist with special HR projects, functions, or events as needed.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills, good interpersonal, and the ability to multitask.
  • Must be able to maintain accurate and quality work performance with frequent distractions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and a high level of integrity.
  • 1 – 2 years of experience working in an office, retail, or business setting. Human Resources experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • HRIS (ADP/Workforce Now) experience preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong focus on customer satisfaction and continual improvement.
  • Must be a self-starter who can function in a high-volume dynamic work environment with little supervision.
  • Good communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs.
