Job Description
Join our team at employer and become a Member Service Specialist during Open Enrollment season! As a Member Service Specialist, you will have the opportunity to support individual members with their healthcare accounts, answer their questions, and provide assistance with enrollment and payment processes. With a fully remote position, you can work from the comfort of your own home while still being a valuable part of our team. Responsibilities


  • Navigate between 5-10 different applications and systems efficiently.
  • Provide support to individual members regarding their accounts, including eligibility, enrollment, billing, and delinquency.
  • Answer and transfer calls as necessary through our web-based phone system, handling around 20-50 calls during open enrollment season.
  • Assist members with payment setup and recurring payments, as well as guide them on how to do the same online.
  • Look up member accounts and provide information on payment status, eligibility status, premium amounts, and enrollment processes.


Qualifications


  • Healthcare experience is a plus but not required.
  • General understanding of health insurance or healthcare is beneficial.
  • Ability to navigate through multiple systems and screens while typing and talking simultaneously.
  • 1+ year of experience working in a customer service call center environment or a related field.
  • Must have reliable internet and a designated work from home space.
  • A High School diploma or GED is required.
