Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO) program as aBusiness Analyst. The analyst supports theDAS PM and team with meeting coordination, meeting minutes, action items, WBS, IMS, Risks, documentation support, VIP, acquisition support, budget support, RTM, etc.
Minimum qualifications:
- Must have experience in standing up AWS and Azure instances
- Ability to cope well under pressure, high-paced workstreams, and/or short deadlines
- Must have experience in evaluating data provided by cost estimators to create overall cost versus benefit assessment
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Cost Accounting or related scientific or technical discipline is required, or an additional8 years of relevant experience maybe substituted for degree requirements
- Experience with software acquisition evaluationwhile considering functional benefits, technical performance, risks, and schedule concerns
- Must be highly effective at communicating both vertically and horizontally with team members and senior staff
- 5+ years of professional work experience
- Ability to manage across geographically diverse teams
- Must be highly organized and self-motivating; maintaining high integrity and high confidence
- Must have some application and infrastructure testing experience
- Must be flexible and efficient at multi-tasking in a high-profile and fast-paced environment
- Must have strong investigative and analytical skills, critical thinking and be detail-oriented
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the VA
- Experience with managing and monitoring high availability, highly elastic mission critical systems in a cloud environment using AWS and Azure dashboards
- Experience with middleware and Enterprise Service Bus design and testing
- Experience implementing Electronic Health Recordsto include FHIR and HL7 message tracking
