Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Health Care Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Austin, Texas. As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing the successful execution of our Public Health Data Sharing Phase 2 project. This exciting opportunity requires a candidate with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record in managing remote projects. Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to plan, budget, execute, and document all aspects of the project.
Employ your expertise in project management to ensure timely and efficient completion of deliverables.
Manage and coordinate vendor activities across the United States, utilizing your remote project management experience.
Oversee enterprise-scale data management projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project goals.
Leverage your extensive experience in managing complex projects within state or federal government agencies.
Demonstrate your in-depth knowledge and proficiency with Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), including data and reporting systems such as the SHARP Platform.
Foster effective communication and collaboration between stakeholders, ensuring alignment and successful project outcomes.
Maintain a keen eye on project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, continuously enhancing your expertise in public health projects.
Qualifications
A minimum of 15+ years of project management experience, demonstrating your ability to independently plan, execute, and achieve project objectives.
Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is required, showcasing your commitment to excellence in project management.
Proven experience in managing remote projects, employing effective communication and coordination strategies to drive success.
Track record of successfully managing enterprise-scale data management projects, ensuring data integrity and security.
Extensive experience in navigating the complexities of state or federal government agencies, delivering results in a dynamic environment.
In-depth knowledge and familiarity with Texas DSHS, particularly with DSHS data and reporting systems including the SHARP Platform.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
