As we build up to lunch in January 2022, Afternoon Light is currently seeking a qualified team member for:

Head of Logistics/Vendor Onboarding

Reporting to VP of Partnerships, the Head of Logistics will be responsible for managing and owning the vendor onboarding process from start to finish and being main point of contact for our stores and brands for all logistics questions.

Responsibilities:

• Drive improvements in our business process and customer experience and bring them to life
• Develop process to guide vendors seamlessly through set up on our site and be a resource for them to achieve maximum success
• Oversee vendor shipping and returns to ensure that vendors are adhering to our guidelines and standards
• Create vendor onboarding materials to ensure ease of set up for brands and stores
• Gather and organize feedback from vendors regarding their experience on Afternoon Light platform, and look for ways to improve it

Requirements:

• You have impeccable communication skills – both written and verbal
• You’re process-driven and are constantly looking for ways to streamline and simplify complex tasks
• 2+ years logistics or vendor onboarding experience
• You’re a self-starter and problem-solver with a keen eye and ideas for ways to improve a business
• You are a natural networker
• You enjoy making new and managing existing merchant relationships
• Excellent organizational skills
• You’re extremely detail and goal-oriented – you track down that missing piece of information and make sure all team members are up to speed on potential changes
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy the fast-paced nature of working at a rapidly growing business
• You have a keen eye (and exceptional taste!) for great products and beautiful tools and wares – you understand our aesthetic
• You follow home design trends and industry news, and are interested in sustainability
• You pride yourself on being responsive and thinking creatively about how you can help each partner grow their business on Afternoon Light
