We are currently seeking a Head of Creative Content for an Athletic Apparel Company located in Houston, TX.

Job summary
The Head of Creative Content will be responsible for strategic planning, scheduling, budgeting, team management, and growth. This role involves working closely with the Director of Operations and the CEO, and requires someone who is proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities. You will be expected to bring the rigor of traditional production organization to a Creative Creator role in a rapidly expanding athletic apparel brand that empowers women from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing relevant content for the company's website and social media channels while maintaining brand image and vision
- Maintaining up-to-date and fresh content across all platforms
- Report and collaborate closely to Director of Operations and CEO as needed.
- Managing production schedules, including videography and photography, to ensure timely completion of creative assets while adhering to brand standards. This includes planning shoot schedules and editorial schedules.
- Ensuring production runs smoothly, meets deadlines, and remains within budget
- Adhering to budgetary guidelines and ensuring timely delivery of creative content
- Fostering a positive work culture, promoting employee satisfaction, and professional development
- Organizing and storing creative assets for ease of use
- Finding suitable vendors and freelancers
- Ensuring brand consistency by managing content creation to align with company vision and standards.
- Collaborating with the marketing and social media teams to develop effective marketing strategies.
- Developing staff and facilitating internal career growth, retention, and performance evaluations
- Supervising outsourced creatives to ensure adherence to company culture, vision, and image
Skills and Requirements
- Able to create engaging content.
- Proficient in popular content management systems.
- Experience in social media management.
- At least 7 years of experience in a related creative role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative and capable of developing original content.
