Who are we looking for?

The position of Video Creative sits within our global Content team and reports to the Director of Content and Community. The Content team's key objective is to bring analysis, insights and stories that matter to our customers and the wider energy industry through a variety of formats.

Though every day will be different, you can expect to spend time:

• Identifying and analyzing the highest quality videos from other industries and sectors to understand what makes them resonate and how we can re-create this in our videos.
• Planning, storyboarding, location scouting, set designing, filming, editing and publishing our video content - across a wide variety of video formats.
• Getting to know our industry, building your network, and staying up to date with the latest developments in video content marketing.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Exceptional storytelling skills, and can approach each project with a fresh take, ensuring that each video excels at conveying the right story and vibe. Finds new ideas to bring to Modo.
• Great technical and non-technical communication skills - able to convey ideas about videos to non-specialists and understand + translate the ideas of non-specialists into incredible videos.
• An entrepreneurial mindset - is determined to bring new ideas, take risks, be creative, ask questions, break stuff, and think big.
• Strong video production and editing skills with fierce attention to technical detail - including color correction/grading, experience with motion graphics and an understanding of pacing, sound mixing and audio post processing.

We’d love it if you also have:

• Broad knowledge of leading brands, how they use video content and media to support their business goals - and are able to translate that to other scenarios.
• Experience in creating content for audience-building on social media channels.
• Experience using various editing softwares (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Suite, DaVinci Resolve), and camera systems (Sony cameras with an understanding of camera settings and gimbal operation).

How & Where we Work:

• Mondays & Fridays are up to you to work from home or come into the office!
• Hybrid: You split your time between working from home and working at your local office location - Tuesday - Thursday
