HP's Corporate Real Estate Workplace Services (CREWS) Organization manages global real estate assets and is responsible for planning and managing the real estate portfolio while delivering a workplace experience that fosters HP's culture of innovation and reinvention.

Job description:
Effective communication is a core capability required for the successful execution of real estate transformation and optimization to support the new way of hybrid work. This role will be accountable for the enablement of communications and change management support to the global team of project managers, facility managers, and other Corporate Real Estate stakeholders to smoothly deliver a portfolio of complex cross-functional initiatives, guide employees through their change journey, achieve operational excellence leading with the employee experience in mind, minimizing business disruptions and resistance to change.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively solicit the "voice of" various internal audiences (i.e., field, senior leaders, HR, first-level managers, and all employees), sharing that information with business leaders to drive better, more impactful content and communications
- Create messaging outlines, project communication outlines, announcements
- Develop presentation materials, including speaking points and speaker notes, internal communications for executives, employee and management communications, memos, announcements, FAQs, Q&As
- Support workload balancing between internal team members and agency contractors as required
- Independently develop and implement a comprehensive effective communications strategy for transformational projects and initiatives impacting employee experience
- Be the thought leader in executive, managerial or employee communications, and contribute to the development and adoption of innovative principles and ideas across HP
- Develop, drive, and evaluate executive communications strategies and programs (internal or external)
- Develop messaging and communications collateral with utmost proficiency, timeliness, and accuracy (presentations, replays, emails, etc.) for “All Manager” and “All Employee” types of company meetings
- Develop targeted messaging to engage various levels of audience and diverse sets of stakeholders
- Acts as a technical and strategic consultant to lower-level staff
Education and Experience Required:
- 6+ years of work experience in a related field is desired
- First-level university degree with a focus in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism, Business Administration or similar; advanced degree or professional license strongly preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Fluency in English
- Superior organization and program management skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of the company top to bottom, including most senior company management
- Strong understanding of diverse cultures, terrains, and environments
- Superior writing and editing skills - recognized for "near perfection" writing and editing skills and often asked to edit the work of others
- Ability to link communications plans and activities to business results
- Ability to “read the room”, and pivot the conversation mid-point as required
- Superior listening and people skills, high levels of tact and diplomacy
- Ability to create effective presentations using storytelling and data
- Proven experience managing, leading, driving, and measuring virtual teams toward a common goal
- Must be comfortable using various collaboration software and writing tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Outlook, and quickly adapt to new tools and processes as required
- Superior knowledge and understanding of employee communications methodologies, tools, and vehicles
- Superior communication, influence, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Excellent team-leading and collaboration skills across multiple business functions and geographies
- Advanced stakeholder management and change management skills
- Ability to derive key points from a large volume of information (“net out the message”)
- Superior understanding of the HP Brand, colors, and templates and ability to use, adapt and create communication templates for the team
