Position Overview
CWT is seeking a Global Project Manager.
Provide project management and analysis to help drive the execution of customer strategic roadmap. Assist with and contribute to global continuous improvement programs for clients’ global travel programs including processes, systems, and data management.
As a member of the CWT account team, the expectations of a successful candidate are to be energetic, and innovative, be able to problem solve, recommend solutions, perform both quantitative & qualitative analysis, and provide good business guidance to cross-functional business partners and fellow teammates, aiding in decision-making on a continuous basis.
Position Description
  • Contribute to and report on budgets, forecasts, and cost models for projects
  • Function within a global network of matrixed stakeholders, super users, and subject matter experts associated with Global Travel Operations
  • Understanding of procurement & sourcing lifecycles
  • Experience with communication, with proven skills in consulting with internal business clients, external suppliers, and external stakeholders
  • Experience working with or in support of diverse communities/suppliers
  • Demonstrated experience with analysis and problem-solving
  • Manage and facilitate successful collaboration between Project Team and various departments, mitigates communication gaps among the teams and stakeholders, provide direction and support as needed
  • Lead the planning, coordination, management, and controls for key projects and initiatives working with all relevant stakeholders. Formalize the project management processes, workflow, and communication to ensure all processes are executed efficiently and consistently. Exercise judgment to select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria
  • Proven experience troubleshooting problems and developing solutions
  • Demonstrate an ability to improvise and adapt quickly, while ruthlessly prioritizing
  • Constantly monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders; present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions
  • Collaborate across functions and sites to harmonize requirements, assist in the implementation of solutions, and facilitate change management
  • Cross-cultural and international experience
  • Proven attention to detail and organization skills
  • Experience driving change and improving the end-to-end process
  • Proven experience troubleshooting problems and developing solutions
  • Ensure projects and deployment targets are met on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and support special projects as needed
  • Recommend solutions, provide analysis, and consolidate platforms to improve integration and to streamline processes in accordance with company policies and Finance objectives
  • Assist in the design and execution of testing strategies and plans
  • In-depth understanding of global travel technology tools (agent desktop, mid office, back office, online booking tools, third party technology, Sabre GDS, etc.)
  • Minimize the customization of solutions and advise on opportunities for standardization
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders through transparency and partnership
Qualifications
Position Requirements
  • Clear communicator, intensely organized, problem solver
  • Cross-cultural and international experience
  • Understanding of the Global Travel Operations process
  • Experience in project management or consulting
  • Demonstrated experience of project management tools
  • 2+ years of Project Management experience
  • 5+ years of global travel operations experience, preferred
  • Understanding of procurement & sourcing lifecycles
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities
  • BA/BS degree in business, IT or related fields, preferred or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel 10% both domestic and international
