Job Title: Global Finance Project Manager

Duration: 3 - 4 Months Contract (High Possibility of Extension)

Pay Rate: $60 hourly on W2

Location Fully Remote

Shift: Position is remote, work hours are flexible, but candidate needs to be available each day for 8.0 hours between 8:00am – 6:00pm CST

Job Summary:

• Responsible for indirect leadership and support of a team of project resources across multiple departments and business units globally and covering multiple time-zones.
• Conducts and supports the Sr. Project Manager in the planning, designing, managing, and implementing of all necessary activities to manage the successful execution of small to medium size project(s) in the Finance Innovation Office (FIO).
• Completing close-out of project in many different countries around the world so cost can be capitalized.
• The ability to think critically, plan and execute effectively while collaborating across teams and locations will be critical to the success in this role.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Knowledge of financial terms, concepts and accounting principles and the ability to comprehend and interpret complex financial transactions preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field of work.
• 5+ years' experience in a Project, Program or PMO role with established skills in risk writing and analysis, detailed project planning and preparation of draft Governance presentations.
• Ability to lead all necessary PM duties with minimal support from Senior Program Manager.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan, initiate and support the execution and delivery of projects while adhering to project management processes.
• Coordinates with communications and change management team members to ensure proper plans are put in place to support respective project(s). Promotes transparency and collaboration across all stakeholders, departments, and project team members.
• The Project Manager will be a key point of contact in the coordination of project planning and tracking activities.
• Manage small to medium scale projects within the Global Finance Department ensuring on-time delivery and quality.
• Prepare detailed status updates for projects. Additional administrative tasks required include but not limited to: meeting invites, note taking, follow up, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Must have strong initiative and adopt the project management methodology including risk and issue management, status reporting, etc.
• Oversee and track project performance of small to medium scale project(s) ensuring on-time delivery and escalation of risks and issues.
• Set-up project infrastructure including project plan, dashboard reporting, executive reporting, milestone tracking and risk logs within Smartsheet, employer tool of choice.
