Capital Project Engineer Jobs

Irving Knight is partnered with a large Paper and Packaging company seeking Capital Project Engineers to cover a number of their US plants. You will work with the Engineering Manager for the division to lead the execution of major capital projects within these facilities.

This is a hybrid role, where you will be travelling around 50% of your time. Candidates can be based anywhere within the US but preference is for candidates based in the centre of the US.

There are two positions available for different backgrounds; Mechanical focused and Electrical focused.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost estimates and plans for potential new projects
• Develop, plan and execute capital projects across the business unit
• Lead teams of contractors across multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
• 4+ years of managing capital projects
• 5+ years working within a manufacturing industry
