Full Charge Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant

MD² is hiring a Staff Accountant to join our growing team in our Bellevue corporate office. The person we are looking for thrives in a professional and fast paced environment. You’re a motivated self-starter with five (5) years of full cycle accounting experience. You are proactive, detail-oriented and demonstrate exceptional customer service.

A Day in the Life:

In this position you will be performing full-cycle accounting activities for a group of small medical clinics.

This Includes:

• Semi-monthly payroll
• Preparation of monthly patient billing
• Monthly close
• Weekly vendor payments
• Processing of deposits

Additionally:

• Respond to clinic and patient billing inquiries
• Help back up other staff accountants while they are on vacation
• Process payment of the monthly administrative fees to MD² International
• Maintain the billing records of new and existing patients in QuickBooks
• Prepare Form 1099 and the related government filing at year end
• Prepare the earned income reconciliation at month end
• Prepare the bank account reconciliation at month end
• Prepare and review personal property tax affidavits
• Special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum three (3) years of accounting experience
• Experience with automated accounting and payroll systems
• Experience with QuickBooks a plus
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially complex excel ability
• Fluent in English with ability to communicate in a professional manner
• Degree or certificate in accounting or related field a plus
• Strong Time Management
• Combination of education/experience that provides the same expertise

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
