Overview A Staff Charge Nurse is a registered nurse who is responsible for providing direct patient care and supervising other nurses in a healthcare setting. Detailed Job Description The Staff Charge Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care, supervising other nurses, and ensuring that the nursing staff is providing quality care to patients. They are responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing patient care plans, and evaluating patient progress. They must also ensure that the nursing staff is following all applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, the Staff Charge Nurse is responsible for providing education and training to other nurses, and for maintaining accurate patient records. Job Skills Required

• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least two years of experience in a healthcare setting
• CPR certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Knowledge of patient assessment and care planning
• Knowledge of patient evaluation and progress monitoring
• Knowledge of patient education and training
