Reporting to the Director of Nursing, our Front Office Specialist provide an enthusiastic approach to patients and team members, providing scheduling, check in, check out, and phone support to our patient community. This position rotates duties for check in, check out, and answering phones in our call center to ensure a well-rounded and pleasant experience for our patients and colleagues.
- Assist patients via phone with scheduling and answering procedure or scheduling questions, upholding the QES Gold Standards of Care and HIPAA regulations.
- Rotate job duties throughout the Front Office team on as needed basis, based on patient volume and needs.
- Update patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and QES processes and procedures.
- Maintain facility through emptying trash, cleaning shared break spaces, and ordering supplies per the departmental procedures.
- Coordinate patient insurance for the patient record and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Assist in person patients with scheduling, check in, and check out procedures, upholding the QES Gold Standards of Care and HIPAA regulations.
- Uphold the clinic policy and procedures in greeting Guests and escalate concerns to the Office Manager; greet Guests with enthusiasm and a high level of customer support, upholding the Quigley value system.
- Open the facility at shift beginning and organize work stations appropriately, print patient charts for technician and physician preparation.
- Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- 2+ years previous clinical or medical office experience
- Previous EMS or related computer software required
- High School graduate/GED equivalent
- Proficient in computer programs and navigating a computer effectively
