We’re looking for skilled and versatile Freelance Event Technology Producers to help us produce amazing events! As an Event Technology Producer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless execution of our events through your technical expertise and exceptional interpersonal skills. This position requires a professional online and in-person presence, a strong background in event technology, and excellent internet and Wi-Fi configuration knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with event planners to understand their technical requirements and provide expert recommendations.
- Set up, configure, and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment, lighting systems, and other event technology components.
- Ensure reliable internet and Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the event venue, including proper configuration and troubleshooting.
- Support presenters, speakers, and performers with technical setup and ensure their comfort and confidence in utilizing event technology.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality checks of all equipment prior to events to ensure flawless operation.
- Assist in managing event technology inventory, including maintenance, upgrades, and replacements as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in event technology, and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, event staff, and team members.
- Professional online and in-person presence, with experience in virtual event platforms and online collaboration tools.
- Proficiency in internet and Wi-Fi configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Solid experience working with event technology such as audiovisual equipment, lighting systems, and presentation tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing event requirements.
- Knowledge of event industry best practices and emerging trends is a plus.
