Description

We are seeking a highly creative and technically proficient Video Editor to join our dynamic team. This individual will play an integral role in our content creation process, specifically for both short-form and long-form video content. The successful candidate will collaborate with our creative team to edit video footage into compelling narratives that align with client branding and objectives. This is a part-time role, requiring approximately 25 hours per month, and offers a competitive compensation package of $3,500 monthly.

Responsibilities:

• Apply creative editing techniques to create engaging video content that tells a compelling story.
• Collaborate with our creative team to conceptualize, storyboard, and execute video projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising on quality.
• Maintain a structured digital filing system for all video footage and edited materials.
• Edit video footage to produce short-form and long-form videos that align with client requirements and branding guidelines.
• Regularly communicate project updates and progress to the team and stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, and apply new techniques to editing processes.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of storytelling techniques, pacing, and timing in the context of video editing.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Experience in Video Production, Film Studies, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer) and graphics software (such as Adobe After Effects & Canva).
• A creative mindset with the ability to take direction, while also contributing original ideas.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in professional video editing.
