Freelance Contributing Writer for Quarterly International Visual Arts and Design Industry Magazine

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and talented Freelance Contributing Writer to join our editorial team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and writing articles for our quarterly magazine focused on visual arts and the design industry.

You'll be contributing to features that compare high-end and low-end transportation options, delve into exceptional architectural designs, and highlight noteworthy product designs. This position is Freelance.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and write five articles each month with a word count of 500 words or less per article.

- Contribute to each quarterly issue with specific focus on the following topics:

• Write an engaging and informative quarterly "pub letter" to supplement your articles.
• Exceptional architectural features, ranging from homes to major buildings.
• Comparisons between high-end and low-end transportation including boats and watercraft, cars and personal mobile transportation, planes, and personal flying craft.
• Innovative new product designs in the visual arts and design industry.

- Adhere to editorial guidelines and deadlines, AP Style.

- Collaborate with the publisher and editorial team to ensure content aligns with the magazine's mission and tone.

Qualifications

- Must have solid experience in writing for print or online magazines.

- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Design, Arts, or a related field (preferred).

- Minimum 2 years of professional writing experience, preferably in design, visual arts, or related industries.

- Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills.

- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to write maintaining the voice of the publication.
