The Studio:

Domino New York is an experiential design studio located in Brooklyn, NY. Our work primarily focuses on implementing a strong perspective on intentional design backed by our client's core values.

We are looking for a skilled and imaginative writer to collaborate with our design team on a project basis. Your main focus will be to create compelling narratives that showcase clients' values and resonate with their life journeys, achievements, lessons, etc. We are looking to work closely with someone who has the ability to craft beautifully written pieces ranging from engaging blog posts to client biographies, product descriptions, and more.

Responsibilities:

1. Story Ideation: Collaborate to develop captivating story ideas that align with objectives.

2. Content Creation: Write high-quality blog posts that feature engaging storytelling elements, maintaining a consistent brand voice and tone throughout.

3. Reader Engagement: Understand our target audience and create content that piques their interest, sparks emotions, and encourages interaction and sharing.

4. Creative Approach: Use various storytelling techniques, including anecdotes, metaphors, and narrative structures, to craft unique and memorable content.

5. SEO Considerations: Implement basic SEO principles and optimize content with relevant keywords.

6. Research: Conduct thorough research to gather accurate information and supporting data for your narratives.

7. Meeting Deadlines: Manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines.

8. Collaboration: Communicate with the team, providing updates and incorporating feedback as needed.

Requirements:

1. Exceptional Writing Skills: A proven track record of exceptional writing, demonstrated through previous blog posts, writing samples, or a portfolio showcasing storytelling abilities.
2. Creativity: An imaginative thinker who can develop original, relatable, and emotionally impactful stories.
3. Adaptability: Ability to adapt your writing style to suit diverse topics, industries, and brand voices.
4. Research Abilities: Strong research skills to gather relevant information and data for your storytelling.
5. Self-Motivated: A proactive and self-driven individual who can work independently and manage their workload effectively.
6. Passion for Storytelling: A genuine passion for storytelling and its power to engage and inspire readers.
