🙏 About the Role

We are seeking a fast-paced, versatile, and organized operator to join our team as a Founding Customer Success Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in configuring our sales AI for clients, fine-tuning it based on client feedback, providing product direction, and ensuring day-to-day operations are executed seamlessly. As a Founding Operator at SellScale, you will have the opportunity to build up the CS org at a rapidly expanding company. You are helping equip sales orgs for the AI age!

🪄 Job Expectations

As a Founding Customer Success Manager, you will operate across many functions:


Operations

  • Dissect and manage the outbound pipelines for all clients
  • Be the #1 operator of SellScale’s product internally (e.g., writing AI prompt inputs) to bring results for customers
  • Execute with the founding team to define and move key revenue, customer, and product metrics


Customer Success:

  • Incorporate client feedback on a weekly basis to enhance AI performance
  • Onboard clients to understand their sales motion and configure our AI to their needs
  • Be the chief evangelist between clients and the dev team to provide feedback on roadmap


Product:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and sales technology, bringing innovative ideas to the table to enhance SellScale's offerings
  • Own the customer feedback loop around our product, offering suggestions on how to improve and expand the capabilities of our AI.


✅ Qualifications


To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • ChatGPT experience:Experience writing with ChatGPT to get it to do what you want.
  • Technical understanding:Previous experience working with technical teams or companies.
  • Client-facing work:Excellent communication and writing skills to collaborate w/ clients and internal teams.
  • Organization:Built systems (personally or at work) to manage multiple tasks and prioritize them
  • Driven:Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills:Ability to identify areas of slack and improvement, and execute to fix them
  • Experience:1-3 years in customer success; previous experience in operations/sales/consulting a bonus

Bonus (one or more):

  • You worked at an AI company
  • You were a top-performing SDR/Sales Rep OR worked in sales ops for a top company
  • You’ve used ChatGPT before
