We are seeking an experienced and highly organized food operations associate to support and facilitate catering operations and work closely with cross-functional teams. In this role, you will be responsible for executing catering services and ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.


Essential Job Results-


  • Work closely with Operations team to fulfill all department requests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Cafe, event planning, and kitchen staff, to understand client requirements, event details, and specific dietary needs.
  • Conduct pre-event meetings with the catering team to ensure a thorough understanding of event timelines, logistics, and any special requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels of catering supplies, equipment, and food products, and coordinate with appropriate teams to ensure availability and proper storage.
  • Work closely with the culinary team to ensure the quality and consistency of food preparation and presentation.
  • Coordinate catering operations, including setup and breakdown and timely delivery, ensuring exceptional service, and client satisfaction while adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, providing resolution and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new catering techniques, and emerging culinary preferences to continuously improve services and stay ahead of the competition.

Qualifications


JOB REQUIREMENTS-


  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as catering events may require.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience as a Catering Associate or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced catering, hospitality, or high-volume retail environment.
  • A Bachelors degree in hospitality management, business, culinary arts, or a related field is required..
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and systems relevant to food and catering operations, such as inventory management, scheduling, and event planning tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with all stake holders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-pressure setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food operations industry.Food Handler Manager Certificate required before on-boarding.
  • Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure, while maintaining attention to detail and delivering excellent service.


Education And Experience-


  • Proficient in Microsoft Suites – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • 5 years of experience in catering operations
  • A Bachelors degree in hospitality management, business, culinary arts, or a related field is required..

Pay range for this position is $30 / hour.
