The Financial Analyst II supports the financial and business information, analysis, and modeling in support of the company’s business objectives. This includes, but is not limited to the annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, monthly financial reporting, Key Performance Indicators, presentation preparation and business investment ROI analysis. The analyst will also work to develop enhancements to existing processes to drive improved financial transparency and awareness. Analyst may also preform competitor and industry analysis and support special projects that are aligned with the company’s business goals.
This position will serve our Raypak Pool Division, located in Oxnard, CA.
What You’ll Do-

• Provides support for preparation of business review presentations, as well as, completes work on special projects for senior business team leaders that is in alignment with company-wide goals.
• Strategic planning financial support.
• Ability to create and maintain dashboards and financial reports in Oracle BI.
• Perform Market Share Reporting and Analysis.
• Orientation to continuous performance improvement coupled with root cause analysis.
• Provides support in creating, maintaining, and reporting of sales commission and rebate programs.
• Assists in preparation of monthly financial reporting package to include margin analysis and commentary for variances to prior year and plan.
• Performs advanced analytics, including defining, measuring and communicating core metrics and providing insight to business leaders
• Emphasis and focus on driving profitable growth.
• Assists in the development of the annual business plan and monthly forecasts.

Job Qualifications
WHAT YOU NEED-

• Experience developing and publishing online dashboards, minimum 2-3 years.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience.
• Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment.

How To Stand Out-

• Must have strong customer service focus.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment.
• Proven analyst with experience forecasting and providing actuals in a timely and accurate manner critical
• Experience in a high volume durable goods manufacturing environment a plus.
• Experience with modeling income statements, balance sheets and cash flows.
• Proven track record of developing technical skills (VBA, SQL, Hyperion Planning rule development, Oracle Data Warehouse report writing, Dashboards creating and maintenance, etc.)
• Superior analytical, reasoning, attention to detail.
• Self-starter with strong teamwork skills and ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders across functional areas.
• Keep up to date on technology trends, developments and best practices.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts such as ROI, NPV, EVA, etc.
• Demonstrates problem solving ability with experience providing practical business insights from large, complex data sets.

Payscale for this role based in California is: $64,000 to $103,000. Please note all pay ranges are broadly stated and any final offer is dependent on factors such as location, direct experience, market guidance and internal equity, among other qualifying criteria”.
