Finance Assistant Jobs

Manhattan based Real Estate Investment Giant has an immediate need for a Finance Assistant with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and tracking invoices, assisting with the preparation of parts of the company's earnings documents, completing the monthly close process for various properties and investments, assisting management with semi-annual Real Estate taxes, establishing tenant security deposit accounts, picking up and distributing mail for the Finance Department, processing and tracking document signatures, assisting with organizing certain departmental events and catering, reserving conference rooms and setting up for meetings, assisting with projects related to automation and process improvements, and other ad hoc duties as needed.
Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of related accounting or real estate experience
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree
• Interest in Accounting, Finance, Systems and Process Improvement

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency with Yardi
• Real estate industry experience

Compensation: $60,000-$65,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
