In this role, you will serve as a Human Resources Specialist for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Your responsibilities will span the entire HR lifecycle, including creating and posting federal job openings, assessing candidates, managing certificates, making candidate selections, and facilitating the onboarding process. Your expertise in using government applicant tracking systems and adhering to HR Best Practices will be pivotal. Ensuring compliance with federal laws and organizational guidelines will be essential in your day-to-day tasks.
Qualifications
4-10 years of federal HR experience
Bachelor's or Master's Degree
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Background Clearance
Professional demeanor and attire
Fully equipped remote workstation
Familiarity with IRS regulations
Strong command of written and spoken English

Extensive experience in federal HR (4-10 years)
Proficiency in USA Staffing
Solid Cradle-to-Grave federal HR expertise
Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Ability to work autonomously and problem-solve
Strong critical thinking skills
Familiarity with MS Office Suite
Effective collaboration with diverse teams
Responsibilities
Assessing Applicants:
Determine minimum qualification requirements
Review and adjudicate veterans' preference
Conduct application adjudication
Coordinate interviews and hiring recommendations
Developing Certificates
Prepare certificates for qualified candidates
Collaborate with government and DEU-certified lead
Provide certificates to selecting officials
Job Offers, PAR Creation, And Onboarding
Create job offers and process PAR
Facilitate background investigations and onboarding
Required Skills And Qualifications
Active DEU Certification (for SR HR Specialists)
Recent IRS clearance or clearance from another federal agency
Strong attention to quality
Preferred Skills
Talent Acquisition experience in a Civilian federal agency
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
